Porsche Rolls Out 911 Turbo 50 Years Edition in India; Prices Start from INR 4.05 Crore

Porsche, a German luxury sports car manufacturer, has recently rolled out the 911 Turbo 50 Years Edition in the Indian market at a starting price of INR 4.05 crore (ex-showroom). This new model holds a special significance for the brand as it marks the 50th anniversary of the very first 911 Turbo model. Porsche will only sell 1,974 units of the new 911 Turbo car worldwide.

The auto giant first unveiled the Porsche 911 Turbo Edition in the Indian market last month. However, Porsche did not reveal the price of this sports car back then. Now, the company has again launched the same version to commemorate the 50th anniversary of its most famous product.

The Porsche 911 Turbo 50 Years Edition price in India is higher than its predecessors, i.e., the Porsche Carrera 4 GTS and 911 Carrera. The updated Porsche Turbo takes inspiration from the iconic 992.1 sports car series, compared to its siblings that have been manufactured on the new 992.2 platform.

In terms of design language, the limited-edition Porsche Turbo car houses new vinyl graphics just like the RSR Turbo concept version. Since the new Porsche sports car is being offered with a Heritage Design package, all of its features and color schemes sport a retro theme that is enough to attract customers.

The package includes an iconic 1964 Porsche crest, an aventurine green metallic color scheme, Sport Classic rims, and satin white graphics. The Porsche Turbo sports car also gets the brand's logos at the rear, puddle lights, and engine cover grille.

Porsche 911 Turbo 50 Years Edition Specifications

Inside the cabin, the car's doors and seats are all finished in vintage Mackenzie tartan fabric. Under the bonnet, the 911 Turbo 50 Years Edition draws power from a 3.7-liter twin-turbo, flat-six petrol engine. The unit can churn out power of 650 hp and 800 Nm of torque.

The luxury car manufacturer claims that the new Porsche Limited Edition can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds. The car can reach a high speed of up to 330 km/h. The boosted power range makes it even more powerful than the original model that was rolled out in 1974.
